Where teeth have been extracted, leaving a gap, there are ways of filling the gap for functional or aesthetic reasons. We offer the following options:

  1. Removable Applicances (dentures).
  2. Fixed Appliances (bridge)
  3. Replacement Teeth (implants) – includes implant assessment, 3D scan & referrals, implant planning and surgical options.

Functionally, a crown is done as a casing to help hold your tooth together.

Aesthetically, sometimes crowns are done in your smile line for cosmetic reasons such as to improve alignment, correcting fractures, discoloured root treated teeth, etc. This may include veneers.

For more details, consult with your dentist.

Veneers are used on front teeth to improve aesthetics. They can be used to bring mildly out of line teeth into a smooth regular arch, replace chipped biting edges and restore worn front teeth back to their original size.

Veneers can also be used where there have been small chips or stained fillings, to give back the “perfect” tooth appearance. This treatment has the advantage of requiring minimal preparation to the natural tooth structure.

Composite bonding provides a solution for minor damage or gaps in teeth. A composite resin is attached to a tooth and shaped to restore its original appearance.
